Dreams and nightmares, dreams and nightmares. Says it all, really. The source of my inspiration (as well of course from reading many science-fiction stories).

Having read my stories don't be scared if you ever meet me. That's the thing with dreams (and nightmares): they aren't real. Surreal, yes. Scary and desperate - often. At least mine are. And the thing is I remember mine and write them down before they fade in the mental mist of awakening.

It's a wonderful thing, the imagination, when unfettered by conscious thought. Usually strange although often apparently logical with unexpected connections and consequences.

I have been writing & collating these bizarre dreams for more than 25 years, now beginning to be organised into novels and short stories.

I have done many different jobs over the years, but since 2003 I have been doing video filming for some or all of my time. For the first ten years this was for large corporates then moving into the TV/film world (itself at times a bizarre dream realm) working on documentaries & TV programmes as camera person, director of photography, occasionally director and scriptwriter, sometimes as producer or co-producer.

I was born in Murwillumbah in Australia, but I now hail from Bristol in the south west of England and have been here many years. When I say I have been here many years, I mean that I have been based here a long time, but have spent a lot of time traveling to many parts of the world including north & south America (more than a year in the USA), across south & east Asia, Australia (obvs), Russia, east & west Europe, the Middle East and the high Arctic.
